I’m super excited to be sharing with you guys a few tips on how to decorate for Christmas without having to tear down your current decor.  This year it was really fun to add some simple colors to my pallet

  1. Pick the color scheme that you love
  2. Find areas in your home that you can add in Christmas Decour and not have to completely tear down your current style or your bank account!
  3. Make it feel warm. It’s so fun to curl up with the kids and watch Frosty or Rudolf and feel super cozy.

This year I brought some old with some new.

Above my stove is from Crate & Barrel last year and these classics will be enjoyed by us for years. I use the wreath year round and am able to incorporate lots with it. I LOVE my tea kettle and silver butter dish this time of year because they were my mommas!!

I pull the simple green olive leaf look around to other areas.

The mantle garland is from Crate and Barrel too. Last year I used it in my table scape and switched it up this year. All of our stockings are an over the years collection. I love the blankets from Pottery Barn thrown in this old dough bowl, I love to repurpose things. The croc was my mommas and this tree from Crate and Barrel fits perfect!! Add in our hand painted sign and I’m sure Santa will visit.

My console area I didn’t change at all. I just added the olive trees from Target Hearth and Hand collection and these little balls are the charms for our wine glasses at Christmas dinner..how cute??

Moving into our sunroom is our main tree! We love a live tree and keep it super simple with our family ornaments and lights- makes my heart sing to have special ornaments from years gone by!!

Tablecape was a cinch! I really love that I’ve used this both Spring, Fall and now Winter! Just changed out the lambs breath for fall colors and now this simple look is all from Target..and I love the manger scene from Willow Tree that seems like it was made for my piece in the dining area..

Heading upstairs to the boys loft. This is the first year we did anything upstairs and I’m obsessed!! I got the fake tree at Lowe’s and it has multi light function which I think is so fun!! All soft ornaments and some added Pottery Barn touches has this space festive AF..

What I recommend is if you don’t want to tear apart the whole home and have to put it all back together, just add to what you have, repurpose things..it takes the stress away and leaves more time for cookie baking and Grinch watching with the kids. Here are a few more areas I just used things I had to liven up the space!

Merry Christmas.
